Stu teaches, talks, writes, judges, makes and works on wine. At the turn of the century, much of his research centered around consumption. After the hangover dissipated, in addition to crafting wine, he created immersive winemaking experiences for both, the collector of trophy bottles and wine curious novice.

Stu’s hands-on harvest crushcamps, classes, workshops and activities are used by numerous notable wineries throughout the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. While rooted in Northern California’s wine country, Stu frequently lectures and leads winecentric workshops across the United States.

He spends at least 1/3 of each day at The Wine Foundry in Napa, California and savors his role as Chief Molotov Cocktail Tosser for the Anarchist Wine Co.
